So I wanted to try something. An experiment if you will. I wanted to see how many more people would read this if it were about something relevant to the masses. So here you go:
Dating as a Christian. Most christian guys and christian girls could write for days about this topic (contact me if you would like to do a guest post... here). In fact here's a video made by some friends at my seminary... co-starring yours truly, haha... about exactly this topic. This was made from a woman's perspective and is pretty applicable all around.
Now from a guys point of view, it almost just the opposite. At least that how most of the guys I know feel.
What about you? Let us know you're thoughts below and it might be included in "Part two" of the dating post!
Keep it civil but put it out there!
This is an important topic - I look forward to seeing chapter 3 :0)
The bloopers were great!

This is hilarious! What do you mean its almost the opposite?
Though I dont go to seminary.. these types of situations are true to most large gatherings of christians. Not that it is mostly guys being socially ridiculous, but girls too. Both genders have troubles relating to each other.
I think that people need to have more realistic (biblical) ideas of "dating and relating." If a person has a healthy idea, then the realization will occur that its okay to have friendships and interactions with the opposite gender. If the guy isnt obviously and intentionally pursuing, then he isnt interested- and if thats the case, the girls would not have to make all sorts of guesses.
If we are part of the same body, we have to treat each other as brothers and sisters.. doing all the things that christians need to do.

Thanks Rebecca, there will be another video soon written from a mans perspective.
Alissa, thanks also! I meant that it's opposite in that guys felt like the girls never approached us or ran from us when we tried. I think you're exactly right in that it's probably both genders acting crazy and seeing it from only their side. This will be an interesting series, I can't wait!
